Yosemite Day 5: Home

This will be a rather short entry just to wrap things up.

Our last day of the trip, we cleaned and packed up, checking out around 9 or 10. I tried to convince everyone to go to the Mariposa Groves, the area of large Sequoia trees that were a part of the original land grant for the park, it would be just 4 miles round  trip by car on our way out, but everyone (especially Jose) wanted to get home, so we passed it by.

The drive was pretty uneventful, we stopped in Fresno for lunch at an Indian restaurant called Tandori Nights (I love the name!) which was quite good. Other than that we just messed with Shintaro while he slept. He’s such a heavy sleeper I could pick up the sleeve of his swear and bounce around his hands like a puppet master without waking him up!

Now that I’m home I’m looking forward to going again, hopefully next time with there being snow on the ground, or at least the chance to summit Half Dome.

Onto the next adventure!
